Rich Dad, Poor Dad: What the Rich Teach Their Kids About Money That the Poor and Middle Class Do Not

I'd have to say this book is a must read. It's not strictly about investing, more about the "rat race", and how to get out of it. You will soon realize that the good old saying, "Go to school, get good grades, and find a good job" is well, old news. It will change your perspective, and the way you think, and realize your parents have set you up for the rat race. It's a tad bit repetitive, but he is just trying to drill the idea home. I just purchased a few more Rich Dad Poor Dad books from amazon and look forward to reading them. Before I was concerned with just the stock market, but he really makes it obvious there are other avenues of making money. Not only how to make money, but what to do with it once you get it. He is a big assets fan and hates liabilities, but its a good read.

Default Rich Dad Series

This book changed my life.

I first read it four years ago and proceeded to read 5 or six other books by R.K.

A real eye-opener. If you read Rich Dad, Poor Dad, you must continue to read The Cashflow Quadrant and Rich Dad's Guide to Investing. These books are potentially life-changing.

The only thing I don't like is that he recommends MLM (pyramids) as a way to learn to sell. Knowing how to sell being one of the skill components necessary to succeed in the B (Business) Quadrant.

Anyway I just read Rich Dad again this week and I'm almost through with Cashflow quadrant again, awesome stuff and I thoroughly recommend them as well as Rich Dad's Prophecy which is about the future financial and ecomonic storm and the baby boomers retiring etc.
