Default (POLL) Who's the best broker overall?

I've allowed 2 votes per person because I know some are futures geared brokers and they can't be lumped in the same as a broad vehicle broker.

If you want to drop a post in here after voting to supplement the individual broker review threads that would be cool too.
Plus let me know if I missed any you think should be on the list.

I picked Choicetrade because of their $5 per side on unlimited stock shares and good execution. Their platform that I used blows though so I don't see them as a daytraders or big timers best choice.

I also used TD Ameritrade wayyy back and they were real nice to deal with, but the commish was a bit high. I was paying 10 bucks per side.

I wish I could take points away from Tradestation, we all know my gripes there from my review prior. :P

I'm so glad you allowed us to pick 2 options.

I absolutely LOVE what TD Ameritrade is doing. Unfortunately, for my day trading of stocks, their commissions were a tad expensive. So I use RML Trading for all of my order entry... yet most of my data and research happens with a small account still at Ameritrade. I use their QuoteTracker, StrategyDesk, Level I and IIs, Market Motion Detector, etc... Ameritrade just continues to provide useful tools for traders. They just seem like the best all around brokerage that's on the ball. The downside, as I said, is the trading commissions. RML Trading has been great in that aspect. Also both brokers having GREAT customer service. Don't really have complaints with either of them. RML Trading offers ECN rebates... that's a nice plus.

Interactive brokers - $1/trade
Think or Swim - Mooching off of their excellent charting platform I may even fund an account and buy some of their parent company's shares to show my gratitude.

Times are tough MC I switched over to investing from trading since October. After many missed opportunities later I'm up 10% since I began. What about you MC how are you doing? Hopefully better than the Bills did last season.

Victory is mine!!!

LOL @ the bills. I don't care for sports...thank god. Buffalo teams always blow it.

I am all cash and just too busy working to devote much time to even scanning. Let me know if you have any investing ideas you might share.
