Default Is this even a sane thing to do? Buying WAMU Stock

Alot of my friends now are buying WAMU(WM) thinking that the price is going to go up one day. Isn't that kinda risky? They put in $5000, It's also a penny stock. hmmmm, They also don't know much about the market. There Strategy, buy anything cheap and eventually it will go up to where it was in the beginning.

Short answer is NO. Weekly WM looks like it could be due for a pop but their "plan" is retarded.

Speaking of WAMU, If the Stock price goes down to Zero. Does this mean they are bankrupt?

Basically yes, and many banks are still at risk here IMO.
