I understand that a fair amount of people over here use ThinkorSwim's platform, wondering if there's any fees associated with using the platform? or does it require that you use the site for trading in order to use the platform?

I'm asking this because i've primarily relied on fundamental analysis, but i'd like to do more TA to asset the FA. My TA knowledge is fairly basic at the moment, for the most part it's limited to resistance/support levels, volume, moving averages and beta. I'll be reading over the threads here to try and gain some knowledge, if anyone has any specific reading material they reccomend that would be awesome. Thanks.
